+++++ What Thomas Kinkade said about this work +++++
"There is an intimate heart to the trio of paintings portraying Winsor Manor, the romantic structure
I've created to honor the birth of my third daughter, Winsor.
That heart, surely, is the ornate little gazebo to the right of the manor house. Sheltered by a
splendid profusion of flowering lilacs, the gazebo is a shaded retreat where friends or lovers may
meet in treasured privacy. And in springtime, Lilac Gazebo offers a special delight to the senses;
the air is fragrant with the heady perfume of lilacs.
No visit to Winsor Manor is complete without a refreshing pause at "Lilac Gazebo". You may want to
share my delight in the birth of my beautiful little daughter by savoring the trio of coordinated
paintings: Rose Gate, Winsor Manor, and Lilac Gazebo.
But, if you prefer to celebrate with a single painting, I could hardly debate a preference for the
intimate, romantic delights offered by this tiny architectural gem nestled in a bower of flowering
lilacs."
